Flotilla
68,
Salem
OR
in the 13th District

Flotilla
Commander - Roger Moles, FC
Vice Flotilla Commander – Richard
Bielenberg, VFC
As the civilian arm of the United States Coast
Guard the Auxiliary has many diverse missions. The Salem Flotilla includes
20+ volunteer civilian members and has operational facilities. We
teach public education classes, conduct member-training, offer free vessel
safety examinations, and provide search and rescue support and safety
patrols throughout our waters in the hopes to make recreational boating
safer for our local community. We are Boaters helping Boaters,
whether we are teaching a boating skills course, towing in a stranded
vessel, or helping owners properly equip their boat, we are having fun and
learning.
Come
to our meeting, visit with Auxiliary members, ask questions, see how much fun you can have
and what an honor it is to help the United States Coast
Guard.
